“Protecting children today prevents conflicts tomorrow,” according to Archbishop Bernardito Auza Apostolic Nuncio and Permanent Observer of the Holy See.
His comments came July 9, 2018, during the United Nations Security Council Open Debate in New York.
“Children are the ones who suffer most from every war and conflict,” Archbishop Auza said. “For the children already trapped in armed conflict, it is never too late to act to save and rehabilitate them.”
