This morning, June 30, 2018, Pope Francis received in audience the President of the Plurinational State of Bolivia, Juan Evo Morales Ayma.
According to a communique released by the Holy See Press Office, the discussions with the president whose country the Argentine Pontiff visited in July 2015, along with Ecuador and Paraguay, were cordial.
“During the cordial discussions,” the brief statement said, “the positive relations between the Holy See and Bolivia were evoked, with special reference to the implementation of the bilateral agreements, and there was an exchange of views on the regional situation.”
